I am going to give this blog thing a shot. Not sure what's interesting enough to put on the web, but here goes.
I am 34, married with 2.5 kids (number 3 will come around the end of July), living in the outlying suburbs of Minneapolis/Saint Paul.
I work for the U.S. Postal Service in Minneapolis; I actually like my job, though I wish it were a little less of a drive.
My wife is a Medical Assistant at the local clinic, my daughter is 10 and in 4th grade, the boy is 3.
Today is just a lazy Sunday, trying to get a few things done around the house, but mostly just hanging out. Daughter is going to the hockey game tonight with Nana, my in-laws have season tickets for the Minnesota Wild.
I am playing a little poker online, I am obviously not as good as I think I am as my bankroll keeps moving in the wrong direction. I love playing poker, I play a lot at the free "bar poker" leagues in the cities. It's enjoyable, I do OK at it, and it's cheaper than the casino!
I like listening to music, my faves are Pearl Jam, Metallica, Earlimart, Incubus, 90's. If you are looking for something to hear new music, try the All Songs Considered podcast from NPR. http://www.npr.org/allsongs I listen to a lot of NPR stuff, probably more than a 34-year-old should. :)
